En ayant assez de voir tomber mon gabarit à chaque fois que je frôlais ma scie à ruban, l’idée de ce gardien m’est passée par l’esprit, ce que j’ai réalisé sur le champ.
Having enough from seeing my jig tipping over each time I was touching my band saw, the idea of such keeper crossed my mind, what I made at once.
Une chute de bois découpée à la scie à ruban pour ce gabarit (lien), sur laquelle j’ai ajouté un aimant terre-rare.
A wood scrap notched on the band saw for that jig (link), on which I added a rare-earth magnet.
Enfin ! Simple, et efficace pour garder le gabarit contre la base de la scie.
At last! Simple, and effective to keep the jig against the saw base.
