Tip From My Second Bowl Turning / Astuce de mon dernier bol tourné

Voici quelques photos de mon deuxième bol que j’ai tourné d’une bûche de frêne.

C’est fantastique comme Dame Nature produit de si bien belles choses !

Here are few photos of my second bowl turned from an ash tree log.

It is fantastic how Mother Nature produces such awesome things !

Le bol ayant été impossible à dégager avec mes vieilles mains, je me suis ‘tourné’ vers mes sangles en caoutchouc.

The bowl having been impossible to dislodge with my bare old hands, I ‘turned’ to my rubber strap wrenches.

Greetings from down under in Melbourne Australia.
Thank you Serge. I always enjoy your messages. The content, the clever innovations and the humour! Best Wishes, Graeme

Well done. I really like ash wood. I’ve made several pieces of furniture (two bedroom sets) from ash. It’s a shame it will probably be extinct due to emerald ash borer, So get it while you can.

Beautiful, I like the little foot you gave it. You are right Mother Nature is THE artist!

Thanks to you and Mother Nature, of course.
I try to follow my instinct for the design, as you probably do while turning your nice things.
      Best,

      Salut Jack,

Comme on dit : Sky is the limit ! Quand on ne l’a pas, on se le procure, et ce pour l’avoir au bon moment. 🙂

      Au plaisir…
