    Catastrophe!

ISIS have claimed this killer to be one of their ‘soldiers’ responding to their call to all like-minded (muslims?) to wreak as much death and destruction as possible wherever they are and no matter how structured, in a conspiritorial group such as in Bruxelles, Belgium, or as opportunistic solo murderers as in Nice.

I don’t believe he was one of theirs, as they would like the world to think, but certainly a warp-minded evil terrorist, bent on some kind of social revenge for what he probably thought French society owed him for his perceived miserable life.

He was a criminal low-life divorced from his wife and family and far beyond a macho, respected male position, lording it over weaker souls in society, much as ISIS regard as ‘normal’ in their concept of society and culture, but which may have been of great appeal to this man.

La France is an obvious target these days since it is more active against ISIS than most, and shelters thousands of young unemployed and disgruntled people whose origins were from muslim lands. In the Nice case, Tunisia. Generous France succours from many countries, probably mostly from Algeria.

The divisions within the muslim communities are historically deep and bloody and now a Kaliphate-ambitious sect has sprung up to claim leadership of these disgruntled misguided potential and actual terrorists.

They are not a religion; they are not part of a religion; they are more of a cult with a bent and wicked creed and in the west they tend to shelter under laws that protect minorities for the general well-being of society. A wolf in sheep’s clothing.

With the presidential elections coming up in France, the terrorist strikes in France will no doubt take their propaganda toll and Marine Le Pen’s FN will no doubt deservedly score further gains in her efforts to sort out France’s many ills, not least that of the EU and the Eurozone. My compatriots in Britain have seen the light too.

It seems there is a greater urgency for prosperous times to wash over the disgruntled residents of France and other EU states . . . . the only way to make the ISIS cult unattractive to the brain-washed amongst our societies, is to encourage individualism to progress rather than developing herds of sheep.

Hand in hand with prosperity must surely be integration into the various cultures muslims have decided to live in and be succoured by. Separated communities have clearly not worked, especially when economies are declining and sections decline faster and further than others; the imbalance can only produce fodder for evil forces.

Meantime, my home window flies the tricolour in solidarity with La France. My new Prime Minister, bless her, has said we stand shoulder to shoulder with France as we always have . . . . . but I fancy the EU will need to carry out massive reforms to achieve democracy and economic equality enough to discourage ISIS from looking for willing recruits in our back yards.

Thank you for caring enough to provide this platform. And for your usual woodworking expertise advice. Bless you.

    Buenas tardes Sergei

Yes, so sad and terrible, but unfortunately real ! I wonder if each and everyone is ready for that ! I believe it can happen any time and anywhere.

  6. Caros, Saudações do Brasil.
Graças a Deus.
