Lorsque j’ai besoin d’utiliser l’air de mon compresseur à l’extérieur (pensez atelier de sous-sol), je sors uniquement le boyau par une fenêtre, m’évitant ainsi de devoir lever cet outil encombrant et pesant.
En été, pour éviter que les insectes entrent, et en hiver la neige et le froid, j’installe temporairement une section de mousse isolante (flèche), tel que montré. Une fois en place, je referme la fenêtre sur la mousse, scellant ainsi la majorité de l’ouverture.
When I need air from my compressor outdoors (think basement workshop), I only pull out the air hose, preventing from lifting the relatively heavy and awkward tool.
In Summer, to prevent bugs from getting in, and in Winter the snow and the cold, I temporarily install a piece of pipe insulation foam (arrow), as shown. Once set in place, I close the window against the foam, therefore sealing the majority of the opening.
