If as I do you like to roll the electric cord around a cylindrical tool, note that over the years I noticed that if I roll it around the widest part of the body there is less risk to brake the joint between the body. In addition, the cord spiral memory is also reduced. Be advised !

The rubber band is buckled around the cord, locked by the plug, and finally wrap around the tool handle.

Hi Serge, I do something similar except I use a Velcro wire wrap from the office supply store. They last longer than the rubber bands and are available in bright colors very inexpensively. I know that rubber bands come free on the morning paper, so they are cheap too, just an alternative to consider. Thanks for your posts and Idea’s
