Pour renforcer ces deux morceaux de 2X3 en pin de 72″ de long, je ponce une face pour y coller des languettes de contreplaqué 1/2″.
To reinforce those two 72″ long 2X3 pine pieces, I sand one side to glue on the 1/2″ plywood strips.
Comme vous pouvez le constater, une vieille brosse à dent étend la colle efficacement.
As you can see, an old tooth brush spreads the glue effectively.
Après avoir agrafé le contreplaqué sur le pin, j’utilise un tampon à récurer en nylon pour enlever l’excès de colle.
After I stapled the plywood to the pine, I’m using a nylon scrubbing pad to remove the excess glue.
Pendant que la colle sèche, je fabrique deux poignées robustes.
While the glue dries, I manufacture two heavy duty handles.
La colle sèche, je boulonne une extrémité au châssis de la base et j’ajoute des vis de l’intérieur à travers le panneau arrière de contreplaqué 1/2″. Cette chose rouge en haut est un serre-joint qui maintient le montant d’aplomb pendant que j’enfonce les vis.
The glue dry, I bolt the lower end to the base’s frame and I add screws from the inside through the 1/2″ plywood back. The red thing at the top is a clamp that keeps the upright plumb while I drive the screws.

Je fais un patron avec du carton et j’indique où tracer pour percer la poignée et le bâti.
I made a template from cardboard and I mark where to trace for drilling the handle and the casing.
Une poignée à chaque extrémité me permettra de rouler et diriger l’établi facilement.
A handle at each end will allow me to easily move and steer the bench.
Je fraise et je visse le caisson sur la base mobile.
I countersink and I screw the casing onto the mobile base.
