Cutting Square at the Band Saw / Couper d’équerre à la scie à ruban

Pour couper d’équerre à la scie à ruban sans toutefois tracer un ligne avec une équerre, je pousse la pièce sur la lame pour ne faire qu’une légère entaille. Pour cette dernière, nul besoin d’être d’équerre, tel que montré.

To cut square at the band saw without scribing a line with a square, push the workpiece towards the blade to make a shallow cut. For this latter, no need to be square, as shown.

Je pivote la pièce vers moi un quart de tour et je suis cette ligne pour couper d’équerre.

Pivot the workpiece a quarter turn towards you and follow the line to cut square.

Sans équerre. Remarquez que parce que j’ai poussé trop fort j’ai créé des écorchures.
