Rx Tool Holders / Supports à outils Rx

Pour rendre positive une situation négative, j’ai eu l’idée d’utiliser les contenants de médicaments pour faire des supports pour mes outils.

To make positive from a negative situation, I came up with the idea of using drug containers to make supports for my tools.

Je crois que l’outil le plus sécuritaire pour couper les fonds est la scie à ruban.

I believe that the safer tool to cut the bottoms is the band saw.

J’enlève les écorchures avec un couteau.

I remove the burrs with a knife.

Je coupe et j’enlève une languette de 1/2’’ avec des ciseaux.

I cut and remove a 1/2’’ strip with scissors.

Je colle du ruban adhésif double face (ruban à tapis) sur les couvercles.

I stick double-sided tape (carpet tape) on the lids.

Je colle les couvercles aux endroits choisis.

I stick the lids at the desired locations.

Dans ce cas-ci, je coupe des languettes de 3/8’’ pour compenser l’épaisseur du manche de mes outils.

In this particular case, I cut 3/8’’ strips to compensate for the thickness of my tool handles.

Pour fixer temporairement ces languettes, j’utilise du ruban adhésif double face.

To temporarily secure those strips, I’m using double-sided tape.

Après avoir percé un trou dans chacun des contenants avec un poinçon, je les visse à travers la languette vis-à-vis chaque couvercle.

After punching a hole in each of the containers with a cratch awl, I screw them through the strip in line with each lid.

Après avoir déposé l’extrémité du manche dans le couvercle, je glisse les outils à leur emplacement respectif.

After I dropped the end of the handle in the lid, I slip the tools in their respective location.
