Avant de procéder à l’assemblage, je vais essayer et ajuster les toupies dans leurs niches respectives.

Before proceeding with the assembly, I will try and adjust the routers in their respective recesses.

Après un premier essai je réalise que je dois agrandir les trous pour le passage des boulons. 1/64’’ de plus fut suffisant.

After a first test I realize that I must enlarge the holes so the bolts will get through. 1/64’’ more was enough.

Compte tenu que les trous dans la base d’une toupie ne sont pas filetés sur toute leur profondeur, je vais y remédier en sortant mon ensemble à fileter.

Since the holes in one of the router base are not tapped throughout the base, I will correct the situation with my tap and die set.

Je coupe donc les filets manquants pour accueillir les trois boulons. Une tâche facile.

I’m cutting the missing threads so the bolts can fit properly. An easy job.

Voici le boulon qui sera vers le fond, sous la table. Les deux autres sont tout près des colonnes.

Here is the bolt that will be towards the back, under the table. The two others are close to the posts.
