Si vous avez un guide à onglets muni d’un rondelle sous le bout de la tige, comme montré sur la photo, vous devez sans doute être très précis pour l’insérer dans la rainure de l’outil.

Face à l’outil, vous devez sans doute prendre vos deux mains pour guider le bout de la tige dans la rainure tout en prenant soin d’engager la rondelle dans les coulisses de la rainure, comme montré.

Pour faciliter l’opération, placez le patin dans la rainure alors que vous déposez l’extrémité du guide à onglets de façon à ce que la rondelle soit derrière l’outil. Lorsque bien assis, glissez le guide à onglets vers le devant du banc de scie. Vous pouvez faire la même chose pour le retirer.

To ease the operation, sit the runner in the slot while dropping the tip of the miter gauge in a fashion that the washer end will fall behind the tool. When seated, slide to miter gauge towards the front of the tool. You can do the same thing to remove it.
